3rd Annual Global Memorial for fallen Israeli soldiers and terror victims.

On Yom Kippur, in 160 Jewish communities across 4 Continents, participants meaningfully remembered the Israeli Heroes who have fallen since Oct. 7th. After the fast, participants sent condolence messages to the bereaved families through Yakir's IDF Connect portal.

"Following last year’s ‘Unity Yizkor’ program, Yakir sent certificates to bereaved families listing the 127 communities where their loved ones were remembered. The responses were deeply emotional. One father excitedly posted on his late son’s Facebook page that his son would never believe how many people now knew his name. One mother sent us a photo of her certificate, framed and hanging proudly in her living room. Knowing that Am Yisrael remembers is a vital source of strength and solace."

Each bereaved family received a certificate with a list of the communities where their loved one was "adopted" by locals, who took the time to learn about the victim and include him/her in a Yizkor memorial prayer.
